This year, Amazon Prime Day was a “two-day parade of non-stop deals.” July 15 and 16 offered Amazon Prime members some incredible deals, including deals on items for baby. - Amazon Prime Days will begin at 2:59am ET (midnight PT) on Monday, July 15th and will last 48 hours.
- There are awesome giveaways, many of which have no entry requirements or only have only a short video!
- Yesterday’s (SUNDAY) giveaways included a MacBook pro, Beats headphones, a $200 Lowes gift card, a Frye over-the-shoulder bag…alllll of which I entered to win whilst updating this post lol.
- You can set up watch alerts on deals that you want to track, and there are a bunch of ways to do this:
- The best deals will be on Amazon devices (like the Amazon App) — worth downloading ahead of time. (Go to “amazon.com/app” in mobile browser to get started.)
- Once in the app, tap the main menu (three bars in the upper left corner). Then tap “Settings,” then “Notifications,” and enable “Personalized Notifications” and also “Watched and Waitlisted Deals.”
- You can also find the giveaways by:
- Searching “Chance to win” within the app.

COMPETITION
Other retailers are planning big sales, too.
Target will have “Deal Days” on Amazon’s Prime Days, boasting that anyone can take advantage of these sales…not just Prime members.
Says Target: “Offers include rarely-on-sale, exclusive home, apparel & toy brands, discounts on hundreds of thousands of items & new deals arriving each day.”
EBay announced a “crash sale” to take place on Prime Days. And Nordstrom also notes a two-week summer sale starting July 19.
Prime Day Deals & A Bit of What to Expect
Part of the Prime Day hype is that most of the Prime Day deals are revealed in real-time (or as close to July 15 as possible). There are, however, some early Prime Day deals that Amazon has already shared, including 30% off both college goodies & household essentials.
